Leave it better than you found it! You can move any furniture, tables, chairs, etc. - as long as you move them back. We strive to provide a tidy, orderly space for you to work with, and are very grateful to you for returning everything where you found it.
Setup and teardown packages also available. Penalties apply if you don’t put things back as you found them.
Garbage and Recycling
We try to keep our space as close to zero waste as possible. We strongly discourage single use plastics, including cups and dishes, balloons and decorations. There is a $50 fee for using single use items. You are welcome to use our reusable cups, wine glasses plates and more, provided you leave them clean.
Your rental includes one black garbage bag. Additional garbage bags will be charged at a rate of $40/bag. We have ample recycling facilities - you’re expected to respect the guidelines around recycling. There will be a $50 penalty for exceedingly inaccurate recycling (ie. placing garbage in recycling bins).
Load In/Load Out
The majority of our rentals are a set hourly block. It’s expected that you’ll start your set up at the beginning of the block, and complete your teardown at the end of your event. Additional hours for set up or teardown will be billed at an hourly rate.
Security & Door
For every ticketed event, you are expected to provide at least one dedicated security person at each point of entry. You are responsible for your own door person to sell and take tickets. It is your responsibility to check ID and screen your guests.
First time event hosts at The Pace are not permitted to host their own bar. We provide all bar staff, alcohol, and do all of the set up and clean up related to beverages.
Food and Drink
You may bring food and drink for your gathering, or we can provide catering options.
Pet and Kid Friendliness
Pets and kids are allowed before 9pm and for events of less than 60 people
Loading, Unloading and Parking
We have two grade level entrances at the front and back of the building
There are five parking spots available with the building. There is also ample street parking which is metered in the day. Weekdays are more competitive than evenings and weekends, but your guests should have no trouble finding parking close by.
