Please note: Our studio is in the middle of a transition period and as such, has been emptied of most of its furnishings (couch, tables, lamp). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause those looking to book for more "lifestyle" purposes. Currently, the space would be better situated for those using backdrops, minimal background, or providing their own set.

Open concept studio space in a reimagined industrial factory building. Our space boasts 12 foot ceilings, with exposed copper piping and intricate crown moulding. Large west facing windows allow for all day natural light on our crisp white walls.

Daydream Studio has been designed to invoke feelings of tranquility and warmth, and created to be a space where you will want to gather; whether it be for photoshoots, pop-ups, workshops, podcast recordings, meetings, etc...

Please note:

The studio (UNIT J) is on the ground floor and has its own separate entrance; so no stairs, elevators, or shared hallway space necessary.

There is a step down into the studio, and we are getting an accessibility ramp made which will be available upon request.

We have converted the non-functioning shower in our Spanish Revival Art Deco bathroom into a changing/fitting room.

Daydream Studio is a multi-use studio with a separate work area/kitchen. You are welcome to use the refrigerator, sink area and table that is represented in our photos. Our desk, materials and work area in this room is off limits so please refrain from touching or photographing this area. Please contact if more clarification is needed.

Covid-19 protocols must be followed while in the space. This includes the wearing of masks if a.) the parties are not bubbled and b.) six feet of distance can not be maintained. "Models" may be maskless as long as those attending to (HMU, wardrobe, etc) are masked. Please use the hand sanitizer on the entryway table. Daydream Studio will sanitize all touch points daily.

*PARKING*
There is free parking on the East side of the street. DO NOT park in, or block, the buildings parking lot. This lot is for permanent tenants of 163 Sterling Road only. If needed, there is a pay-per-hour parking lot just to the North of the studio. We have our own street access entrance, so loading and unloading is quite easy.

*AIR CONDITIONING*
The air conditioning unit is located above the bathroom door frame. The remote is located on that same wall: on top of the heat control, in the corner next to the window. The unit has a digital face, so you will see the power icon light up when it has been effectively turned on. If turned on, AC must be turned off before you leave.

*PROPS*
Use of furniture and/or props in the lounge area of the studio are available for complimentary use.
You are free to move around the furniture and props to suit your usage of the space. However, all furniture and props must be returned to their original locations after you are done. We ask that all furniture is lifted when being moved to avoid damage as all of our pieces are vintage and very valuable to us. Some of our decor items are also for sale through Rose City Goods, and are from their current inventory. Please take care of these items if they are moved during your time in the studio and avoid placing any textiles on the floor. If any of the items are damaged during the shoot you will be charged retail price to replace the items.

*BLINDS*
Our studio comes equipped with light-reducing roll down blinds. We encourage you to take advantage of the natural light our studio receives through its' West facing windows. However, if you roll the blinds up, you are required to close them before you leave. This is to prevent our textiles and furniture from being damaged from the sun.

*CLEANING*
Our cleaning fee is modest to reflect a shared responsibility. This means that you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself once you are finished with your session. Please remove all garbage from the unit and deposit it in the large green bins outside. There is a broom and dustpan in the nook in-between the workroom and the lounge, on the left side. Please use this to sweep up after yourself.

Failure to comply with studio rules will result in loss of your deposit. An additional fee of $25 will be added for each repair or damage found to the space as a result of your visit.

~No food or drink permitted in the lounge area unless discussed and agreed upon.
~Use of the kitchen is not included in base rental price, and must be discussed and agreed upon before hand.
~If moved, all furniture and/or decor must be returned to its original locations. Failure to do so will result in an additional fee added on to the booking charge.
~Please respect our neighbours and keep noise levels at a minimum.
~Please do not use or touch our workspace area and materials.

Loved everything about this space, the location was perfect for us - not on too busy a street, still close to great coffee shops & accessible for people to get to. Would host an event here again 100%.
