1. Purpose of booking:

Only events that expressly correspond to the details outlined by the client during booking may be held.

2. Event duration:

Use of space (including set-up and tear-down) must only be for the period of time as agreed during booking. Time overages will result in additional fees.

3. Client responsibility for representative and/or guest behaviour:

The client is responsible for their representatives and/or guests at all times. Behavior that endangers, harms, or impinges on others is not tolerated. Persons under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or persons who for other reasons are not accountable for their behavior may be required to leave the premises or rejected from entry. Zero tolerance policy for discrimination and discriminatory speech. Racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, homophobia and transphobia, have absolutely no [email hidden].

4. Capacity:

A combined capacity of 25 representatives and/or guests is strictly enforced to comply with COVID-19 protocols. The combined capacity may not exceed 25 at any time. Any additional persons will be immediately turned away.

5. Damages:

The client assumes all responsibility for damage to and for leaving the premises in the same condition in which it was found. The client will be billed for any damage to the facility or equipment.

6. Parking:

Client unit parking is only available as agreed upon during the booking and for the duration of the event. Other vehicles will be towed. Nearby paid lot parking is available at Dundas and Keele.

7. Music:

Any music, DJs, musicians, etc. must play at a reasonable level as decided by the manager on duty. Subwoofers and/or high levels of bass are NOT permitted. Clients must strictly adhere to Toronto noise bylaws.

8. Alcohol:

Liability falls on the client to ensure they have the proper permits to serve and/or sell alcohol when necessary. In no case may alcohol be served and/or sold to minors or visibly intoxicated individuals. Absolutely NO alcohol allowed outside of the unit.

9. Damages:

Equipment with the potential for fire or water damage are prohibited in all indoor spaces including, but not limited to candles, sparklers, fog machines. No items may be nailed to the doors, windows, walls, or floors. Use of rice, confetti or glitter is prohibited in the space. Additional charges will apply if used.

10. Smoking:

Absolutely no smoking inside the premises under any circumstances. Additional cleaning fees will be charged and event will be subject to immediate termination.

11. Neighbouring units:

Please respect the neighbouring units. Absolutely NO hanging out outside of the unit.

Kate was a lovely host and her space was perfect for my event!

Kate’s space was exactly what I was looking for to hold my birthday party. It was a very nice room for an affordable price. She was very commutative and responded quickly. She is a wonderful hostess. I would definitely recommend!
