Our space is a light and airy open space with ample natural daylight. We are a shopfront in the Fraserhood sandwiched between an awesome coffee shop and a bakery. The space has a minimal and modern aesthetic with white walls and floors and the furniture is high quality. Many pieces are custom made - these pieces come with the rental of the space. Our space comes with quite a few awesome plants as well - we love plants! We also have a large kitchen area as part of the rental for your use.
++ Please note that we have had to reduce the square footage of our event area and can no longer accommodate large gatherings. Smaller group sessions are best for our current layout, depending on the nature and length of rental, we can accommodate 8-15 people at a time. Please enquire for suitability.
We are a coworking space, during weekday business hours, we rent our desks to independent creatives who want a flexible work space and want to have some like minded company, but the evenings and weekends are for anyone who needs a beautiful venue to run an event.*

$90/hour with a minimum 3 hour booking
$700 Day Rate is for 8 hours of booking time, additional hours charged at $90/hr.

*Weekday Day Time - depending on the nature of your event, it is possible to rent during our regular business hours if your event is compatible with our regular coworking business. Please contact us to discuss this option.

We are located in a mixed residential and commercial block and need to respect our neighbours : noise curfew at 10pm.
If you are renting dishes or other equipment , they need to be delivered and picked up during the hours of M-F 9:30-5:30 or within the rental window of your booking. If dishes are not delivered or picked up on the same day as your event, there will be extra charges to hold on to any rented equipment.
**** If serving alcohol, you must get a Special Occasion License from BC LCLB
*** Events involving food and drink, cleaning fee is $135.
From booking until the end of the night my experience was great. Fast with communication and very helpful with set up. The space is versitle and had everything we needed for our snacks. Thank you!
The Aviary is a great place for public meetings. We had a presentation there and everyone felt that there was a good energy going. It is probably 50% due to presentation and audience and 50% due to the esthetic of the place.

This space was a blank canvas. It worked very well for a bridal shower. The tables were large and functional. We got a lot of positive feedback from our guests pertaining to the space. Would rent again for sure!

Stella and Andrea are wonderfully, kind, friendly and helpful. They were so easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue was ideal for our event and in a very convenient location. The kitchen was clean and spacious and perfect for prepping our last minute snacks. Will definitely be our first choice if we need event space again.
The space is a beautiful and bright space with a contemporary aesthetic. It served as an inspiration for many elements I crafted for the event. We had the most wonderful time!
