Modern And Minimal Designer Space
Our space is a light and airy open space with ample natural daylight. We are a shopfront in the Fraserhood sandwiched between an awesome coffee shop and a bakery. The space has a minimal and modern aesthetic with white walls and floors and the furniture is high quality. Many pieces are custom made - these pieces come with the rental of the space. Our space comes with quite a few awesome plants as well - we love plants! We also have a large kitchen area as part of the rental for your use.
++ Please note : Smaller group sessions or pop-up retail uses are best for our current layout, depending on the nature and length of rental. For seated gatherings, we can accommodate 15 people at a time and can fit 20-30 people standing. Please enquire for suitability. We are no longer able to host private parties.
We are a coworking space, during weekday business hours, our members, who are independent creatives who want a flexible work space and want to have some like minded company, use our space. But the evenings and weekends are for anyone who needs a beautiful venue to run an event.*

$100/hour with a minimum 4 hour booking
$700 Day Rate is for 8 hours of booking time, additional hours charged at $100/hr.
$70 Standard Cleaning Fee
$135 Cleaning Fee if event involves food and drink

Weekends : all day - hours are flexible
*Weekday Day Time - depending on the nature of your event, it is possible to rent during our regular business hours if your event is compatible with our regular coworking business. Please contact us to discuss this option.
** Please be aware that your booking time should include setup and take down time.

We are located in a mixed residential and commercial block and need to respect our neighbours : noise curfew at 10pm.
If you are renting dishes or other equipment , they need to be delivered and picked up during the hours of M-F 9:30-5:30 or within the rental window of your booking. If dishes are not delivered or picked up on the same day as your event, there will be extra charges to hold on to any rented equipment.
**** If serving alcohol, you must get a Special Occasion License from BC LCLB
*** Events involving food and drink, cleaning fee is $135.
Stella and Andrea are wonderfully, kind, friendly and helpful. They were so easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue was ideal for our event and in a very convenient location. The kitchen was clean and spacious and perfect for prepping our last minute snacks. Will definitely be our first choice if we need event space again.
The space is a beautiful and bright space with a contemporary aesthetic. It served as an inspiration for many elements I crafted for the event. We had the most wonderful time! Stella was an amazing host: accommodating with a highly positive attitude. Prompt to respond to any request and to assist in any way needed. A big thank you for all your assistance! It was a perfect choice for us and I look forward to many more events at the space.

Stella and Andrea were the most accommodating hosts to work with. They were both extremely communicative and easy going. Their space is also beautiful and minimal, providing a clean 'palette' that I was able to adapt to make my vision come to life - it was the perfect venue for my event. I highly recommend The Aviary!
