This flexible event space features:
• The renter (organizer) can bring in their own alcohol and food to serve to guests without markup, or alternatively you can have a catering company provide it (no restrictions on which caterer).

• Walking distance from the Broadway-City Hall Skytrain Station (Canada Line), and one block from Broadway.

$1,949 for an 8-hour rental. For this price, we can start as early as 10am and go as late as 11pm when choosing their rental times (e.g. 3pm-11pm, or 12pm-8pm).
Extra hours outside this timeframe: daytime $122/hour, after 11pm $425/hour. We can accommodate rentals as late as 2am.
Price includes tables and chairs upon request.
A few pieces of modern furniture and decor are included with the room rental, and the hanging lights are permanent fixtures of the space.

Weddings are priced differently due to the additional work they require. Wedding reception rentals are $4,199 for a 10 hour rental. For this price, we can start as early as 10am and go as late as 11pm when choosing their rental times (e.g. 1pm-11pm or 12pm-10pm). Extra hours outside this timeframe: daytime $122/hour, after midnight $425/hour.
Dry wedding rentals are 50% off.
Please note that in order to complete the booking process, we require a rental agreement also be filled out and signed (let us know if you'd like to review this in advance), and if you are serving liquor you will need a special event liquor license and one-day liquor liability insurance.

Rental times include setup and teardown, and any time needed for deliveries or pickups should be included in this as well.
Renters must sign a rental agreement: we will email this to you after you book, or if you'd like to review it in advance please let us know.
Renters can choose any caterer, or self-cater at no extra cost
Renters can bring in their own A/V or furniture at no extra cost, or you can rent ours if you prefer
Additional liquor liability insurance is required
No open flames allowed except for chafing dishes and burners supervised by a licensed catering company.
The space worked great for our wedding and the staff in the space were all great to work with. My only minor qualm was a lot of the advertised furniture (rugs, light up bar, etc) was not in the space; I understand this was all "pending availability" but it was a bit disappointing.
I absolutely loved working with the Soundhouse Studio team (Karen, Carlos, etc.). Karen was patient with my back and forth with the insurance company and she answered all my questions in a timely fashion. Carlos, our go-to person the day of the event was a relaxed and resourceful guy. Thanks to both of you for making our Feeding Growth event a success!
We held our wedding reception at Soundhouse Studios — it was a fantastic venue for our party of about 60 guests. Communication was super easy and Soundhouse worked with us to make sure every detail was worked out for the party.
