Perfect for dinner parties, event rentals, creative or corporate meetings, screenings and art shows...The House of Commons is both centrally located and a little off the beaten path of Queen St. Its a bright, open concept converted warehouse space with a kitchen, rooftop patio, art room, bar and studio. A full washroom and an east facing bedroom are available on the main floor. We have full AV packages, music programmers and a projector available. An artist in residence program ensures the space is decked with big rad art all year long. Our outdoor space is a two tired roof with BBQ, garden, harvest table and lounge seating.

The upper floor is for permanent residents only. Smoking allowed outdoors in the smoking corner. All outdoor speakers and live acts on the roof must be off by 11pm and switched over to indoor speakers. If you do not want Chloe the Wolf on premise, please give us 48 hours notice...but honestly, she's the best.

We used this space for our 1 year old birthday party! It was great! All my guests loved the space and found it very unique! The accessibility to the patio and a bedroom was exactly the extras we needed! Everything was clean! The space made our son’s birthday perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for!

Sarah's place is a dream and way bigger than it looks in the photos. She was extremely accommodating and let us use some of her beautiful flatware, plates and dishes for our event. The sound system was great and rooftop was gorgeous!

Amazing event space! I highly recommend for gatherings. I had my 25th birthday party here and it was more than enough space for all 50 of my guests. The patio was perfect for smoke breaks and hosting the keg I ordered and I can only imagine how nice it would be in the summer (my party was in February). My guests were all impressed with my venue choice and could not believe I could find a space like this that would let me host a party. Sarah was great to organize this with. She was very accommodating. Although I did not order any catering, Sarah had a lot of food menu options to order from - you could even order a cake! The speakers worked well too. There were plenty of seats for my guests to sit.
